The Dinner Party

We were finally supposed to have Ateesh's friends to dinner. He postponed the dinner once, and then again. And then he forgot to invite them last night, when he thought he had. So one poor soul came. His good (and apparently only) friend. Well, together we ate delicious caldo verde..and a lot of it.


Ateesh is learning to bake. That is EXCITING! Here he is, with his Alsatian Tart! Though it didn't come out as we'd have hoped, it was still tasty. Actually it really wasn't. But we salvaged all these beautiful local apples and made a wonderful fig/apple/peach/raspberry (all local fruit) CRISP! Delicious.
