A lovely meal...

Following a simple one sentence description in one of our guidebooks two nights ago we walked to a nearby beach and ate at a solitary old boathouse. The food was excellent and the view was magnificent. We drank a Lasko, ate octopus in a rich red wine sauce, fresh fish soup with rice, good bread, and cheese and tomatoes. Sometimes the most unassuming places serve up the most delicious food.

Yesterday we did not move our bags for the first time the whole trip! There have been two times where we thought we were going to move on only to return to the place we were staying for a sencond night! Needless to say, it was very nice to chill. We went to a secluded pebble beach yesterday and explored Korcula town. We also had our first bad tourist restaurant food. Boooo! But, we finished the day with delightful gelato, though Katys two scoop eyes were bigger than her stomach! Today we move on to somewhere yet to be decided between Korcula and Dubrovnik. Then we have three nights in Dubrovnik. The trip is coming to a close!! NOOOOOOOOO!
