All the Friends!

Miyo spent last weekend here, as did Greg. As usual, we hosted a number of dinner parties, with our famous Lettuce Bundles that have won acclaim all over the globe. Wow...just googled that. Is that seriously a Martha Stewart recipe?! Yikes.

We met many of Miyo's wonderful friends, had a fun time hanging with vegan cookies & wine (I dont know if that's the recipe they used, but hey, thought I'd give others a chance to make a vegan cookie!). I should note we were all very surprised that the cookies turned out so delicious...except Greg of course who had made them before and was well prepared for that deliciousness.

We made sure we played PICTURE PHONE, one of our trademark games,as well as Taboo, a game we love well, too.

But what about the days? Surely we weren't sitting around watching progressive movies from the Film Connection. Or watching my Netflix of "Everything is Illuminated" as I prepare myself for Ukraine. No, we were not. We were too busy hiking in Maryland, or Virgina, on the AT (Appalachian Trail.) We did a good several hour, multi ups and downs hike with Ariel & Chad.

It was good. Came back and got to cookin'.

On Sunday, we went to All Souls, having lost one guest but still with the other, and listened to an amazing sermon relating MLK's words on the immoral war in Vietnam to today's war in Iraq, not to mention an amazing plethora of beautiful songs by the many choirs.
