Not much time to go now!

The weeks have been flying by! Little time remains between now and our due date. During the last several months, our lives have pretty much remained the same as they always were. I didn't stop traveling internationally until recently. The baby has visited a few continents already!

Even after the end of my international travels, we had a few lovely weekend trips together in Denver, and then Asheville, when I wasn't supposed to get on planes anymore. And after we decided no more leaving town overnight, we hosted beloved college friends, followed by Ben's parents.

But from this weekend on, it's just the two of us. Preparing. Washing impossibly small baby clothes and putting them in baby's dresser. Trying to install our new infant car seat. Packing our bag for the hospital, including baby's first outfit. Imagining our lives after the baby comes.

Of course we are overwhelmed with the tasks that remain and the major change about to come our way. But we are so very excited about the birth that is to come!
