New Orleans & Mississippi

Ben and I just spent the weekend together in NOLA. Nola has gotta be one of the most beautiful US cities I have ever seen. Even the poorer areas area green, brightly painted...the food is delicious and abundant (Cafe du Monde beignets!) and the music is lively and great. HOWEVER, the hurricane effects are ridiculously overwhelming, and I can't say enough about the devastation and what it's like to see in person.

I will be posting some pictures, as well as recommending some nonprofits for people with interest to donate to. I had the good fortune of meeting with about 20 or 30 nonprofits while there on a scouting visit to find nonprofits for us to fund. Since we can't fund everyone, want to pass along some ideas to yal.
